My name is Simone Anne and I am a photographer based out of Berkeley, California.
My interest in photography started in 2007 with black & white film (darkroom). Since then, I've switched to almost all digital although I'd like to go back to my film roots at some point (...does Polaroid count?).
Current work includes:
-Contributing photographer for The Daily Californian, UC Berkeley's independent student newspaper
-Photography staff member for Bare Magazine, UC Berkeley's premier fashion magazine
-Awarded "Best Magazine" and "Best Overall Publication" at the ASUC Publication Awards, 2010
-Freelance shooting of weddings, events, portraits, etc.
Past work includes:
-Intern and assistant under wonderful wedding and portrait photographer Shanti Duprez
-Gallery-esq showing at Sullivan's Restaurant in Pescadero, California (August 2009)
